         We opted for breakfast again and got the same... Maria said we could leave our packs in the breakfast room for the day and get them later that night before the train left. We set out again for the Vatican (this time with pants on). 

     It was very nice inside and we poked around for a few hours -then we shopped for a while- I bought Bernt an Inter-Milan soccer jersey and towel and Beth, grandma, and or somehow Gladis 2 small jewelry holders. On the way back to hotel Phila we met some Jehovah's witnesses, argued with them for a while until a catholic priest intervened and got them to shut up. Later in the train waiting booth, some Norwegians saw my Norge shirt and borrowed our train schedule book. I was wearing white pants in the Roman Train Terminal Urinal and some gay guy kept trying to see my unit. We met a French guy on our train who spoke a little English. 2 other guys got on...big dude and his son (kind of smelly).
