| The following is an account of my trip to Norway in 1996. The first week was spent in Leirsund, which is close to Oslo, after which I headed to Ålesund and Eidsdahl on the west coast. |
The reason for the trip was two fold, to visit my relatives living in Norway and to strengthen my Norwegian language skills which, suffered from neglect due to my time in the Spanish language study abroad program in Guadalajara, Mexico earlier the same year. |
Some of the most memorable things of the trip were: Confusing Spanish and Norwegian Prepositions, Train rides through the Mountains, Fjord touring with Harald, staying with the Asak Family, Hanging out with Kjetil, and Downtown Oslo at Night. |
