Goodbye to Poetry So say good
bye to poetry Say hello
to you and me Nothing’s
how it used to be Love gave
an epiphany No water do
I need to drink Of bread my
stomach no more thinks There is
but us, in that I trust Borne not
of buns or legs or bum or bust Say good
bye to poetry Say hola to
you and me Nothing
could tear me from you Or I from
thee For love
gave an epiphany.
